English Teacher

**Location**: Mumbai, India (Remote - Work From Home)

**Schedule**: Full-time, Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

We are seeking a qualified and experienced English Teacher to join our team remotely in Mumbai. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students of various ages and proficiency levels.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging and effective English language lessons that cater to the needs and proficiency levels of students.
- Create and implement lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments in alignment with curriculum objectives and learning goals.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional strategies to promote active learning and student engagement in virtual classroom settings.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve their English language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and critical thinking.
- Monitor student progress, track attendance, and maintain accurate records of student performance and achievements.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues through online platforms to address questions, concerns, and feedback.
- Stay updated on best practices in English language teaching, educational technology tools, and teaching methodologies to enhance teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or qualification such as B.Ed., TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an English Teacher, preferably in a virtual or online teaching environment.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using online teaching platforms, virtual classroom tools, and educational technology for remote instruction.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students.
- Passion for teaching and a dedication to helping students achieve their language learning goals.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
- Familiarity with international English language proficiency exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge English, etc.
- Experience working with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Certification or training in online teaching methodologies and digital pedagogy.
