Production Merchandiser

We are seeking a Production Merchandiser who will be responsible for coordinating and managing the production process to ensure timely delivery of quality garments that meet client requirements. This role involves effective communication between the merchandising, production, and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow, adherence to timelines, and alignment with customer specifications. The Production Merchant plays a vital role in bridging client expectations with factory operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Order Coordination**:

- Coordinate with the merchandising team to understand customer requirements, production specifications, and timelines.
- Ensure all necessary information, such as tech packs, material requirements, and approvals, is communicated to the production team.
- Post getting a styling confirmation on orders: order all materials according to SOP and raise POs after confirmation from the sourcing team.

**Production Planning and Scheduling**:

- Work with the production planning team to allocate resources and set production schedules based on order priorities.
- Analyse consumption and maintain a database.
- Monitor production milestones and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
- Address and resolve any production bottlenecks to prevent delays

**Material Follow-Up**:

- Coordinate with the sourcing and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of fabrics, trims, and accessories for production.
- Track material consumption and update inventory records as required.

**Sample Development and Approval**:

- Liaise with the sampling team to ensure the development of pre-production and size-set samples as per client specifications.
- Facilitate client approvals on samples before proceeding to bulk production.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure garments meet client standards and specifications at every stage of production.
- Monitor inline and final inspections and address quality issues proactively.
- Ensure proper documentation of quality standards and rework requirements.

**Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of production progress, material usage, and quality checks.
- Prepare and share daily or weekly production reports with senior management.
- Document any production deviations or issues and maintain a database for future reference.
- Regulate inventories.

**Skills Required**:

- Mathematical aptitude
- Product knowledge.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
