ESL Steel Limited is poising towards debottlenecking of its operations & has expansion plans in Jharkhand state. We are in the process of expanding in 2 phases (First phase is 1.5 MT to 3 MT) Brown field project and from 3 MT to 10 MT Green Field Project, to ensure Vedanta’s strong footprint in steel business.

**Role**:Shift In charge Blast Furnace**

**Experience: Min 10 Years**

**Grade: M4/M5**

**Location: Bokaro**

**Qualification**:B.E/B.**Tech in Metallurgy**

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure environment, health, and safety at workplace with zero harm, zero discharge and zero waste
- Process monitoring, ensure to achieve shift production targets & grade wise production
- Reduction in operational down time.
- Identifying new activities for HIRA & Aspect / Impact.
- Daily shift work management, safety & environment initiative and ensuring safe working conditions.
- Trouble shooting Skills for process variation.
- Co-ordination with Engineers & other shift personnel for smooth functioning of blast furnaces.
- Ensuring good housekeeping & safe working environment.

**Desired attributes**:

- Knowledge in Dry GCP/HBS
- Knowledge in PCM operation & Loco /Ladle movement
- Knowledge on corrective actions for parameters deviations.
- Knowledge of reduction of wastage of consumable.
