**Job Type**: Full-Time / Part-Time
**Reporting To**: Principal / Head of Administration

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the library's cataloging, classification, and indexing of resources (books, journals, digital media, etc.)
- Assist students and staff in locating and utilizing library resources
- Maintain an updated inventory and ensure the security of all materials
- Oversee the borrowing and return of books, and manage overdue records
- Introduce and manage digital library resources and online catalog systems
- Organize reading programs, book clubs, and literary events to promote reading habits
- Train and supervise student library helpers or assistants if applicable
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs with appropriate resources
- Maintain quiet, welcoming, and intellectually stimulating library environment
- Keep up to date with new publications and make recommendations for acquisitions

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science (B.Lib.Sc / M.Lib.Sc)
- Proficiency in library management software (e.g., Koha, Libsys, etc.)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of digital archives, e-books, and online resources

**Preferred Skills**:

- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
- Passion for reading and knowledge dissemination
- Familiarity with information literacy tools and digital research platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
- Multilingual skills (Hindi/English) a plus in Indian institutions

**Salary**:
Pay: ₹11,767.36 - ₹35,000.00 per month
