Data Entry Operator

Chennai, Tamil Nadu- Work Type: Full Time**Key Responsibilities**
- Accurately enter and update data into various computer systems and databases from paper documents or electronic files.
- Verify the accuracy of data entered by comparing it to source documents.
- Maintain and update existing data in databases to ensure the information is current and accurate.
- Review and correct data discrepancies, identify and resolve data errors, and ensure data integrity.
- Organize and maintain files and records, both electronic and paper.
- Reporting: Generate reports and summaries from the entered data as
required.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner, following company policies and procedures.
- Compliance: Adhere to data entry protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
**Qualification**
- Previous experience as a data entry operator or similar position is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with data entry software and databases.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and discrepancies.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to data entry.
**Education/Experience Required**
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certification in data
entry or related field is a plus.
