The SAP Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and promoting SAP solutions and services. The role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to closing deals, and contributing to the overall growth and revenue generation of the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Business Development & Sales**:
- Identify and target potential clients for SAP products and services.
- Generate new business leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events.
- Present and promote SAP solutions to prospective clients, showcasing their benefits and relevance to the client's needs.
- Understand the client’s business requirements and work with the technical team to develop customized solutions.
- Develop and execute strategies to convert leads into sales and drive revenue.
- **Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
- Regularly engage with existing clients to understand their evolving needs and offer relevant SAP solutions.
- Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and provide post-sales support as required.
- **Market Research & Analysis**:
- Keep up-to-date with SAP products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Analyze client needs and industry challenges to offer effective SAP solutions.
- **Sales Presentations & Demonstrations**:
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase SAP’s offerings, solutions, and functionalities.
- Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and pain points of potential clients.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with internal teams (technical consultants, project managers, etc.) to ensure seamless communication and delivery of solutions.
- Provide input into the creation of marketing materials, sales proposals, and presentations.
- **Proposal & Contract Management**:
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotes.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring the best deal for both parties.
- Close sales deals and meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
**Key Skills & Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- **Experience**:
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or client management, preferably in the SAP.
- Strong understanding of SAP solutions, including ERP, CRM, and other SAP modules.
- Proven experience in generating leads, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with potential clients.
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Knowledge of the latest SAP offerings and industry trends.
- **Certifications** (optional but beneficial):
- SAP certification or experience in SAP-specific solutions.
