As HSSE Advisor, you will report to the Site HSSE Team Lead and work with different stakeholders who execute the actions with the business groups. Hence, you’ll need to have good collaborative skills to drive HSSE Management System, Frontline Work Execution, Self-Assurance process and HSSE trainings.

**What’s the role?**

In this role, you need to have an in depth understanding of HSSE Control Framework with focus on personal safety, site HSSE MS, Safety Refresh Journey, Contractor HSSE, Self Assurance process for HSSE assurance. As part of the enterprise, first drive towards Goal Zero, collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, team player skills and business partnering are required.

Further accountabilities are as follows:

- Custodian of personal safety procedures and Hazard Control Sheets at site. Ensure that all authorized members at STCB for various personal safety aspects such as Work at Height, Hot Work, Excavation, Confined Space, Permit to Work, lifting activities etc. are trained and competency assured. Also ensure that adequate controls are identified and are in place at site.
- Assess and provide inputs to the annual HSE Management Review with focus on personal safety elements of site HSSE MS.
- Develop and implement adequate Project HSSE activities plan for site projects.
- Support site project teams on effective Contractor HSSE management, manage the HSSE induction process of new contractors, coordinate Construction HSSE, HAZID and constructability studies.
- Engage and train front-line staff including contract partners through toolbox talks, sharing of learnings and planned trainings.
- Manage the Frontline Work Execution work stream of safety refresh that focuses on Operational safety of high-risk work activities.
- Guide and coach contractor team members with focus on learnings from operational safety events.
- Incident Reporting and Investigation

**What We Need from You**
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent background and with combined approximately 8 to 12 years of experience in Labs, Operations or HSSE
- Effective communication, presentation, influencing and business writing skills
- Good in collaborative skills as required to work with various user groups and other Tech Centers as part of HSSE MS and Safety Refresh journey
- Good in analytical skills and derive meaningful reports from available data
- Coaching skills
- Experience in HSSE cultural improvement initiatives at site would be an added advantage
- Knowledge level in:

- Personal Safety elements of HSSE MS
- HSSE activities and plan applicable for construction phase of projects
- Risk assessment: Identifying operational safety risks and implementing controls
- Working with contractor teams to drive Safety improvements
- Permit to Work, Management of Change, Contractor management
- Knowledge Level in HEMP 100, HEMP 101, Frontline Work Execution, HSSE MS Control Framework and Construction HSSE.
