1. Lead the editing process for various projects, including feature films, trailers,

teasers, promotional videos, and digital content, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet

project objectives and timelines.

2. Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to understand

project requirements, goals, and artistic vision, and translate them into compelling visual

storytelling through editing.

3. Utilize advanced editing techniques, visual effects, sound design, and color grading to

enhance the narrative impact, pacing, and emotional resonance of the videos.

4. Manage and mentor a team of video editors, providing guidance, feedback, and support

to ensure consistent quality and adherence to project specifications.

5. Stay updated with industry trends, editing software advancements, and emerging

technologies to continuously improve editing workflows, techniques, and efficiency.

6. Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and studio standards in all video productions,

maintaining consistency and professionalism across projects.

7. Collaborate with other departments, including cinematography, sound design, and visual

effects, to seamlessly integrate elements and achieve cohesive storytelling.

8. Handle post-production tasks such as file organization, asset management, and final

delivery in various formats and platforms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in film production, media studies, or related field.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio

demonstrating expertise in narrative storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro,

Adobe After Effects Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Excellent understanding of video codecs, formats, and delivery standards for

various platforms and distribution channels.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and

inspire a team of editors and collaborators.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage

multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Creative flair, artistic vision, and a passion for cinematic storytelling and visual

communication.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, with a

proactive and positive attitude.
