Merchant for Garment Exports

**About the Company**:
Shree Chaitanya International is a garment manufacturing and exporting company which has been a major player in the industry for the past 25 years. It has state of the art facilities and partnered manufacturing units. The company is at the most exciting stage as a new team is being added to make it a fashion-tech startup. SCI is launching a new clothing brand which is currently being tested in Spain and Italy. The vision of vertical integration is driving the new startup units.
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Collaborate with the design and product development team to understand customer requirements, trends, and specifications. Assist in creating product prototypes and samples.
- Sourcing and Vendor Management, identify and liaise with fabric and accessory suppliers. Obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure timely sourcing of materials while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in receiving and processing purchase orders from clients. Ensure accuracy in order details, quantities, and timelines.
- Work closely with production teams to monitor the progress of garment production. Track production schedules, address production-related issues, and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Participate / coordinate with the quality assurance team in quality control processes to ensure that garments meet the required standards. Conduct inspections of samples and bulk production to identify and resolve any quality issues.
- preparing cost sheets and pricing of garments. Monitor and analyze production costs to maintain competitiveness in the market, do bill clearances.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to provide updates on order status, resolve queries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
**REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS**:
- A bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising, têxtile, or a related field is typically required.
- A minimum of 4 years experience working
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic knowledge of garment production processes and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
- Must have his own transportation (motorbike or another vehical)
**Salary**: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
