Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
The Prudential Regulatory Reporting CoE team contributes to a number of external reporting disclosures including the preparation of financial regulatory disclosures included within the Annual Report, COREP and Pillar 3. This role involves supporting the design and implementation of governance and control requirements for the Pru Reg CoE as well as establishing themselves as an SME in the governance space and managing stakeholder relationships with internal stakeholders.

What will you be doing?
- Responsible to drive the implementation of best practice governance standards to support the financial regulatory disclosures
- Ensure BAU governance deliverables are met
- Provide governance SME support to key stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

- University degree or equivalent
- Professional Qualifications / certifications - CA / CIA / CPA
- Governance / Controls / Internal Audit / Statutory audit experience, preferably in Banking domain/Big 4
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and/or regulatory reporting governance and controls
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and investigate complex issues
- Ability to challenge / explore control issues so that the impact / root cause / remediation are well understood
- Excellent Stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to operate in a relatively autonomous manner
- Ability to work in a pressured environment and cope with the demand of working to tight deadlines
- Proven interpersonal, influencing and team working skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels
- Drive / challenge mindset

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Knowledge of Regulatory landscape in banking domain preferable
- Experience in MI pack preparations / presentations to senior stakeholders preferable
