**Job Summary**: The Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately handling monetary transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the sales counter. This role is critical in maintaining the store's reputation for excellence and supporting the sales team in achieving their goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs.
- Provide product information and advice, guiding customers through their purchasing decisions.
- Ensure a positive and welcoming environment for customers.
- **Transaction Handling**:

- Accurately process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions securely and efficiently.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers as needed.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Assist in monitoring stock levels and report discrepancies to the store manager.
- Help with inventory counts and the organization of merchandise.
- **Security and Compliance**:

- Follow all security procedures to prevent theft and loss.
- Comply with all store policies, procedures, and applicable laws regarding the sale of jewellery.
- **Store Maintenance**:

- Keep the cash register area clean and organized.
- Assist in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and report any discrepancies.
- Prepare daily sales reports and bank deposits as required.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with sales associates and management to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Experience**: Previous cashier or retail experience, preferably in a jewellery or luxury goods environment.
- **Skills**:

- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Trustworthiness and integrity.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

**Work Schedule**:

- Full-time or part-time positions available.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
