**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Medical Billing & Coding**:

- Accurately process and submit medical claims to insurance companies for retail medical services and products.
- Review patient files to ensure proper documentation for billing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, while processing patient data.
- **Claims Management**:

- Monitor claims status and ensure timely follow-up with insurance companies to resolve any issues or rejections.
- Respond to inquiries regarding insurance claim statuses, denials, and re-submissions.
- Work with insurance companies and third-party payers to resolve discrepancies or denials and ensure payment for services rendered.
- **Patient Billing and Customer Service**:

- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their bills, insurance coverage, and any payment issues.
- Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and explain charges on their bills.
- Issue patient statements, process payments, and maintain accurate patient records.
- **Payment Posting & Reconciliation**:

- Post insurance payments and patient payments to the appropriate accounts.
- Reconcile patient accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Prepare reports for management to track billing performance and revenue generation.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and documentation in the system.
- Prepare and submit monthly billing reports to management as requested.
- Track and resolve any outstanding balances in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education & Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Medical Billing and Coding or a related field preferred.
- Certification in Medical Billing (e.g., CPC, CBCS) is a plus.
- **1-2 years of experience in medical billing, coding, or a healthcare-related role, preferably in a retail or outpatient medical setting.**
- **Skills & Abilities**:

- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and insurance claim procedures.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

**Working Conditions**:

- **Work is typically performed in an office or retail medical store environment.**:

- Regular working hours, with the possibility of occasional overtime based on workload and deadlines.
- Interaction with patients, insurance representatives, and healthcare providers may be required.

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
