**Roles & responsibilities**:
- Power Sale, Regulatory & Strategy for Power Business of BALCO with a focus on efficiency, planning, compliance, coordination with electricity authorities, Stakeholder management & emergency handling, etc.
- Design & Execute Business Plans and strategies formulation & implementation, assist the team in legal/regulatory work pertaining Electricity (Petition, Cross subsidy, RPO, Environment etc.)
- Advocacy with State/Central Agencies on Policy/Regulatory issues pertaining power business, update management on key Regulatory issues and policy changes.
- Business Development by maximizing of Tie-Up, NSR & Base Load Procurement and market Study and Trend Prediction for Future Tender Quote.
- Preparation of bid for Energy Exchange Bidding and NSR maximization through Balance Power Bidding in Intraday Contingency, Day Ahead & Term Ahead market of exchanges.
- Coordination with RLDC and power scheduling and demand, Knowledge of electricity regulations, Asset Optimization, Sustainability model, Legal compliance and best practices across the industry.
- Tender participation and finalization, Scheduling of power under STOA/MTOA/LTA.
- Achieve highest standard of safety and reliability complying to all statutory and environmental norms.
**Desired Qualifications & Skills**:
- B.E /B. Tech, Qualifications in Management Systems, Professional Course in Management (added advantage)
- Experience of 10+ years
