**Job Title**_ - Principal - Scrum Master _**
- The Workplace Investments (WI) technology team is looking for an oustanding Scrum Master to collaborate and deliver top quality scalable systems. _

The Purpose of This Role
- You will be playing a Scrum Master role within the Intelligent Automation product area in WI for 2-3 scrum teams. You will work closely with the Squads, Squad Leaders, Product Area and Chapter Leads to build and deliver high value products. This role requires knowing the scrum principles and being a strong communicator and doer._

- _ Meet the service expectations stated below towards Squad Leaders, Squad and to the organization_
- _ Define the mínimal viable product working with the product area and coordinate with the squad for timely delivery_
- _ Remove impediments for and with the team approaching the appropriate contacts and processes_
- _ Collaborate with other scrum masters to improve the efficiency in scrum adoption in the organization_

**Technical / Behavioral**
- _ An upbeat agile proponent and practitioner, passionate about inspiring teams on Agile Values and Principles, and redfining the teams towards building a frictionless organization._
- _ Familiar with software engineering practices and ways of working that are commonly adopted by teams practicing agile, such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Lean etc_
- _ Working knowledge in any of the enterprise agile collaboration tools, such as Jira, is an added advantage_
- _ Familiarity or experience with any of the models that are widely used in scaling agile within a large business unit or enterprise_
- _ Attention to detail and ability to lead 2-3 scrum teams_
- _ Communicate effectively and influence the stakeholders_

**SCRUM MASTER SERVICE TO THE SQUAD LEADER**
- _ Ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the squad as much as possible._
- _ Finding techniques for effective squad backlog management._
- _ Helping the squad understand the need for clear and concise backlog items_
- _ Working with the squad leader to arrange the backlog to maximize value_

**SCRUM MASTER SERVICE TO THE SQUAD**
- _ Coaching the squad in self-organization and cross-functionality_
- _ Helping the squad to define the stories and create high-value products_
- _ Identification and Removing impediments to the squad’s progress_
- _ Facilitating Scrum events as required, requested or needed_
- _ Coaching the squad in organizational environments in which Scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood_

**SCRUM MASTER SERVICE TO THE ORGANIZATION**
- _ Leading and coaching the organization in its Scrum adoption_
- _ Planning Scrum implementations within the organization_
- _ Maintain trusted relationships with business partners_
- _ Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical product development, continuous improvement._

The Expertise We’re Looking For
- _ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology, Information Systems_
- _ 10+ years of Financial IT industry experience_
- _ 3+ years in Scrum master role either in SAFE or Spotify models_
- _ Strong team player that thrives in a collaborative environment_
- _ Strong written and verbal communication skills_
- _ Ability to work with full US based squads 2-3 times a week (coverage till 11PM)_
- _ Quick learner and a great team player_
- _ Experience in the financial services industry, preferably in the Mutual Fund environment, is a plus._
- _ It is desirable to have a Scrum Master Certification_
