**Job Description: CA Articleship Trainee**

**Position**: CA Articleship Trainee
**Duration**: 3 Years (as per ICAI guidelines)
**Reporting To**: Chartered Accountant / Senior Manager / Partner

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Audit and Assurance**:

- Assist in the planning and execution of statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
- Verify financial records and statements for accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Conduct audit fieldwork, including vouching, ledger scrutiny, and balance confirmations.
- Prepare and organize audit working papers and reports.
- **Taxation**:

- Assist in the preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns (Income Tax, GST, etc.).
- Support in tax planning and advisory services for clients.
- Handle tax assessments and compliances under supervision.
- Keep updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.
- **Accounting**:

- Help in the preparation and finalization of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards.
- Record and maintain client transactions, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation of MIS reports, budgeting, and forecasting.
- **Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with various statutory requirements like ROC filings, TDS, GST, etc.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of returns and other documents as required by law.
- **Advisory and Consultancy**:

- Participate in financial advisory projects like due diligence, business valuations, and financial analysis.
- Support in preparation of project reports and financial models.
- **Client Interaction**:

- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates.
- Address client queries under the guidance of seniors.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Qualification**: Cleared at least CA Intermediate/IPCC level.
- **Technical Skills**: Basic knowledge of accounting, auditing, and taxation. Familiarity with accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, and MS Office Suite.
- **Soft Skills**: Good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management.
- **Work Ethic**: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, willingness to learn, and adaptability to various assignments.
