The Medical Coding trainee will be responsible for accurately coding medical records and ensuring compliance with all relevant coding guidelines and regulations.

Certification from a recognized coding organization such as AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., CPC, CCS) is required

**Experience/Qualification**:

- Completion of a medical coding training program (certificate or diploma).
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Basic understanding of healthcare billing and reimbursement processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and analyze medical records to identify relevant diagnoses and procedures.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on medical documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of coded data for billing and reimbursement purposes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and billing staff to clarify documentation and coding queries.
- Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines, payer policies, and regulatory changes.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
