We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our hospital's billing department as an Insurance & Credit Billing Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes for both insurance claims and credit billing inquiries.
- **Responsibilities**:

- Verify insurance coverage for patients admitted to the hospital, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Process insurance claims promptly and accurately, following all relevant regulations and guidelines set forth by insurance companies and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with medical coding staff to ensure proper coding of procedures and diagnoses for insurance claims.
- Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues with insurance companies, patients, or third-party payers.
- Assist patients with credit billing inquiries, explaining billing statements and payment options as needed.
- Work closely with financial counselors and patient advocates to provide assistance to patients with financial hardships or insurance coverage questions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of billing transactions, correspondence with insurance companies, and patient interactions.
- Keep abreast of changes in insurance regulations and billing procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, insurance representatives, and other stakeholders, addressing billing concerns and inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance billing processes and customer service.

**Qualification**: Any Graduate
**Experience**: 3-5 yrs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
