Ticketing Executive

**1. Ticket Booking and Issuance**
- Book and issue tickets for domestic and international travel, including flights, trains, buses, and other modes of transportation.
- Manage reservations through Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre, if applicable.
- Handle rebooking, cancellations, and refunds efficiently.
**2. Customer Service**
- Assist customers in planning travel itineraries based on their preferences, budget, and schedule.
- Provide accurate information regarding routes, fares, availability, and promotional offers.
- Address customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
**3. Documentation and Verification**
- Verify customer details, such as identification documents and travel permits.
- Ensure compliance with airline or travel policies, including visa requirements and baggage regulations.
- Maintain records of ticket transactions and invoices.
**4. Coordination and Communication**
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other service providers to confirm bookings.
- Inform customers about flight changes, delays, or cancellations and provide alternatives.
- Liaise with internal departments for smooth operations.
**5. Sales and Promotion**
- Upsell and cross-sell travel-related products, such as travel insurance, hotel bookings, or package tours.
- Inform customers of special deals, discounts, or loyalty programs.
**6. Operational Efficiency**
- Monitor payment processes and ensure timely collection of fees or charges.
- Process invoices, receipts, and refunds accurately.
- Maintain proper records of daily activities and generate reports as needed.
**7. Technology and Tools**
- Use ticketing software and tools proficiently for seamless operation.
- Stay updated on new technologies and systems to improve service delivery.
**8. Compliance and Safety**
- Adhere to all government regulations and company policies regarding ticket issuance and travel bookings.
- Ensure the safety and confidentiality of customer data.
**9. Problem Solving**
- Handle travel-related emergencies such as missed flights, lost baggage, or sudden cancellations.
- Provide quick and effective resolutions to customer grievances.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Contractual / Temporary
