Male Staff Nurse Icu

The ICU Staff Nurse (Male) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. He will monitor patient conditions, provide direct patient care, assist doctors in procedures, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide round-the-clock nursing care to ICU patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor vital signs, ventilator settings, cardiac monitors, and other critical parameters.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and injections as per physician’s orders.
- Assist doctors during medical procedures, intubations, and emergency interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, charts, and reports.
- Perform routine nursing procedures including suctioning, catheterization, wound dressing, etc.
- Ensure proper functioning and upkeep of ICU equipment (ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, defibrillators).
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies (CPR, Code Blue situations).
- Educate patient attendants/family about patient condition, care, and safety measures (as per hospital policy).
- Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to ICU sterilization standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (doctors, technicians, physiotherapists, dieticians, etc.) for patient care.
- Ensure proper handover and takeover during shift changes.
- Uphold patient confidentiality, dignity, and hospital code of conduct.
