Qc Lab Chemist

**Qualification**: B.sc chemistry/Any Science background with chemical sciences

**Experience**: 1-2 years min.

**Job location**: Sushi Animal Nutrition Pvt Ltd., Nawabpet village, Medak district, TG.

**Reports to**: Plant QA&QC Incharge

**KRA**:
The Lab Chemist is responsible for conducting chemical analyses and tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure meet the required quality standards.

This role includes sampling, testing, and documenting results, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and internal protocols.

The Lab Chemist plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the plant’s products and ensuring continuous improvement in processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Sampling & Testing**:
Collect samples of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products for chemical testing as per the standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Perform chemical, physical, and instrumental analysis of samples to ensure compliance with product specifications.

Conduct routine tests such as pH, viscosity, moisture content, specific gravity, and other required analyses.

Prepare and test solutions, compounds, and reagents for laboratory use following strict protocols.

Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments.

**2. Quality Control & Analysis**:
Analyze the results of tests to ensure product quality and identify any deviations from the expected parameters.

Perform routine quality checks and ensure that any non-conformance is reported to the QA& QC In-Charge

Collaborate with production and quality control teams to resolve any quality issues.

Assist in investigating root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure that all laboratory practices follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety guidelines.

**3. Documentation & Reporting**:
Maintain accurate records of all testing procedures and results in both physical and electronic formats.

Prepare test reports, certificates of analysis (COA), and other required documentation to support internal processes and customer requirements.

Ensure proper documentation of all laboratory activities, including test results, sampling logs, and calibration records.

Assist in preparing reports for internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory compliance.

Ensure proper labelling of samples and tested products according to protocols.

**4. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence**:
Ensure all testing procedures comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP) and regulatory requirements.

Stay updated on changes to regulatory standards and ensure laboratory practices adhere to them.

Ensure that safety protocols are followed during testing and that hazardous materials are handled in compliance with safety regulations.

Ensure proper waste disposal of chemicals and samples in compliance with environmental regulations.

**5. Laboratory Maintenance & Safety**:
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laboratory to avoid contamination and ensure efficiency.

Ensure that all laboratory instruments and equipment are regularly calibrated, serviced, and properly maintained.

Maintain inventory of chemicals, reagents, and consumables required for testing and ensure timely reordering.

Adhere to all laboratory safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper chemical handling procedures.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
