Cashier (F)

**Job Title**: Cashier

**Location**: Taxim Restaurant, Perumbavoor

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers as they arrive and assist with their order payments.
- Handle cash and process payments using the POS system.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change due to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and comply with company policies.
- Assist with customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Monitor and report cash discrepancies or issues to the management.
- Assist with closing procedures at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a friendly and courteous attitude toward all guests and team members.
- Support other staff members as needed to ensure smooth operations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle money and operate a cash register.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
