**Job Title**: Bid Writer - Medical Equipment (UK NHS Framework)

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify and assess tender opportunities through UK procurement portals (e.g., Contracts Finder, Find a Tender).
- Prepare, write, and submit compelling and tailored bid documents for NHS and other healthcare contracts.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather technical, financial, and operational inputs.
- Ensure all submissions are accurate, compliant, and delivered within strict deadlines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NHS procurement practices, frameworks, and guidelines.
- Track and analyze bid outcomes to improve future submissions and win rates.
- Maintain and organize bid libraries, templates, and supporting documentation.

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in bid writing, specifically with successful bids submitted to UK NHS Frameworks.
- Strong understanding of UK public sector procurement processes and terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight timelines.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and structured approach to writing and editing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the medical equipment or healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with NHS Supply Chain, Crown Commercial Service (CCS), and other UK healthcare procurement bodies.
