As a Show TD your problem solving aptitude enables our artists to create stunning images.

With your deep technical understanding of the production workflows and existing pipeline you will be a key-contact for your department or show to use our tools efficiently and get the job done.

Together with your team, you provide a first-line support for artists and production, and ensure the necessary pipeline tools and workflows are well configured, adopted or reviewed for adjustment to create efficiencies and deliver outstanding visuals.

You engage with the other TDs, pipeline and software development teams to find solutions when something is not quite there and write show-specific tools as necessary.

**Responsibilities**
- Team up with the CG supervisor(s), supervising TD and department leads to identify appropriate technical solutions to deliver a show and create efficiencies.
- Write show-specific tools (usually in python) - and support those becoming part of the wider company stack as appropriate
- Mentor junior ATDs and support documentation of best practices to grow the team
- Collaborate with the pipeline and software development teams to develop new tools and workflows

**Requirements**:

- A problem solving can-do mindset
- Deep understanding of one or more departments in the VFX and/or animation pipeline
- Excellent knowledge of Maya, Nuke, Houdini or Shotgrid
- Python skills

If you have additional experience in source control tools, rendering, team leadership and a degree in computer science or computer graphics, even better.
