**About the Role**
We're seeking an **Observability Architect** to help engineering teams successfully adopt and scale observability practices using SigNoz and OpenTelemetry. This is a deeply technical role where you'll work directly with customers to design, implement, and optimize observability architectures for complex distributed systems.
You won't be writing product code day-to-day, but you'll be deep in Kubernetes clusters, instrumentation pipelines, and customer codebase—solving real-world observability challenges.
**What You'll Do**
- ** Guide Engineering Teams**: Lead customers through their entire SigNoz adoption journey—from initial setup to production scaling and rollout
- ** Design Observability Architectures**: Create and advise on best-practice observability implementations using SigNoz & OpenTelemetry for complex distributed systems
- ** Customer Collaboration**: Work 1:1 with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, debug instrumentation, and optimize their monitoring setup
- ** Product Advocacy**: Be the internal champion for users—influence our product roadmap, documentation, and features with real-world customer insights
**What We're Looking For**
- ** Technical Background**: 2-6 years of experience as a software engineer, infrastructure engineer, SRE, or platform engineer
- ** Observability Experience**: Hands-on familiarity with observability tools, telemetry pipelines, and monitoring best practices
- ** Cloud-Native Expertise**: Strong experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native infrastructure
- ** Customer-Focused**: You enjoy talking to other developers, sharing knowledge, and helping solve complex technical problems
- ** Communication Skills**: Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to engineering teams
**Bonus Points**:
- Previous entrepreneurial experience or technical founder background
- Experience with OpenTelemetry
- Background in distributed systems architecture
- Experience working with enterprise engineering teams
