**About the Role**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy **Geotagging Intern** to assist with organizing and geotagging large sets of photos, videos, or data points for mapping and analysis. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in **GIS (Geographic Information Systems)**, **data analysis**, **urban planning**, **environmental studies**, or **digital media**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Geotag photos, videos, or other media using mapping software or internal tools
- Verify and correct location data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Assist with organizing, naming, and uploading files to cloud storage or databases
- Collaborate with GIS analysts, field teams, or content creators to gather accurate location information
- Document workflows and suggest improvements for geotagging efficiency
- Support data quality checks and error correction processes

**Qualifications**
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Media, or a related field
- Familiarity with Google Maps, GPS tools, or basic GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working with large datasets and file management
- Basic understanding of file formats (e.g., JPEG, MP4, CSV)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills

**Preferred Skills (not mandatory)**
- Experience with photo metadata (EXIF) editing tools
- Knowledge of GPS data formats (e.g., GPX, KML)
- Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating repetitive tasks
- Interest in digital mapping, remote sensing, or open-source GIS tools

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹5,200.00 per month
