The Private Brands Team is committed to delivering a cohesive and consistent brand experience through effective portfolio management and minimizing dependencies on third-party agencies.
The Packaging Operations Team is responsible for the execution of our Private Brand strategies. This includes managing packaging, print quality management, packaging innovation, and development. This team oversees the review of instruction manuals, works with legal on trademarks and registration marks for logos, products, and collection names, and supports our sustainability goals.
**Job Summary -**
The Associate Copy Editor will be part of a creative services/production team responsible for executing all private brand packaging and instruction manuals. With the guidance of the Copy Editors, this individual will QC/edit copy for all product packaging and instruction manuals executed by the onshore/offshore art production team and/or product vendors.
**Roles & Responsibilities -**
- Under the guidance of the Copy Editor/Senior Copy editors, review all packaging artwork files executed by an offshore art production team, fact‐checking for accuracy of content and product images; annotating changes when needed
- Review instruction manuals supplied by product vendors, ensuring proper spelling and grammar; annotating changes when needed
- Collaborate with the Copy Editors/Sr. Editors on the team to ensure the style guide remains current
- Manage deadlines in a fast‐paced environment and easily adapt to changing priorities
- Interacts regularly with agency project managers and other team members as needed for completion of assigned projects
- Stay up-to-date with retail trends in order to adapt to content evolution
- Other duties as assigned
