**Job Title: Slot Attendant**

**Location**: Casino Carnival, Miramar Panaji Goa.

**Reports To**: Slot Supervisor / Gaming Floor

**Position Type**: Full-Time.

**Job Summary**:
The Slot Attendant is responsible for maintaining a positive and engaging customer experience by assisting guests with slot machines, ensuring machines are in optimal working condition, and addressing any customer concerns. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of the gaming floor and contributes to an exciting and safe environment for guests. Slot Attendants are expected to be approachable, knowledgeable, and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**: Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive gaming experience. Answer questions related to slot machines and provide clear, accurate information about gameplay, rewards, and promotions.
- **Machine Monitoring**: Monitor slot machines to ensure they are functioning correctly. Assist guests with minor machine issues, such as ticket jams, payout discrepancies, or technical problems.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify and resolve basic slot machine malfunctions by notifying the appropriate technical team or Slot Supervisor when necessary.
- **Player Assistance**: Provide assistance to players needing help with coin or ticket-related issues, jackpot payouts, or redemption of casino points/rewards.
- **Payments and Payouts**: Process jackpot payouts and other casino winnings, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with casino regulations.
- **Security & Compliance**: Ensure compliance with casino policies and procedures, including monitoring for any suspicious or fraudulent activities. Adhere to all gaming regulations and report any violations or incidents promptly.
- **Promotions & Marketing**: Inform guests about ongoing promotions, loyalty programs, and upcoming events to enhance their experience and encourage engagement with the casino’s offerings.
- **Maintenance**: Keep the slot area clean and organized, ensuring machines are visually appealing and operational at all times.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the Slot Supervisors and Gaming Department team to meet operational needs, resolve issues, and contribute to achieving department goals.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or degree in hospitality or gaming is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service or in a casino environment is preferred, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of slot machines and casino operations is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift light to moderate objects as needed.
- Must be able to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to pass a background check and meet licensing requirements as dictated by state gaming regulations.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work is performed on the casino floor, with a fast-paced and high-energy environment.
- Exposure to noise, flashing lights, and large crowds typical of a casino environment.
- Shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required.
