**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach **Philosophy Optional** (Paper I & Paper II) in accordance with the UPSC syllabus.
- Design structured lesson plans, study materials, and test papers aligned with UPSC standards.
- Deliver engaging classroom lectures (offline or online) that simplify complex philosophical concepts.
- Conduct regular doubt-clearing sessions, answer-writing practice, and test series evaluations.
- Provide personalized mentorship and guidance to students based on their performance and learning needs.
- Stay updated with previous years’ question trends, syllabus changes, and exam patterns.
- Evaluate answer scripts and give constructive feedback to improve students' writing and analytical skills.
- Collaborate with academic teams to enhance content quality and curriculum delivery.

**Key Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong command over both **Indian and Western Philosophy**.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify abstract concepts for easy student comprehension.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to relate philosophical thought to current socio-political issues.
- Experience with **answer writing** and UPSC exam strategy.
- Empathy and patience in dealing with students' academic challenges.

**Qualifications**:

- Postgraduate or Doctorate in Philosophy (MA/MPhil/PhD).
- UPSC teaching experience (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
- Prior experience of appearing in UPSC exams (with Philosophy optional) is a plus.
- Published academic work or content creation experience is desirable.
