**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high quality dishes within the speciality section
- Assisting the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
- Assisting with the management of health and safety
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
- Responsible to maintain cleanliness, sanitation at the assigned work area
- Responsible for preparing and cooking all food items by the recipe and to specification
- Prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of vegetables, soupsnand other food items
- Wash and peel fresh fruits, vegetables and also able to weigh, measure and mix ingredients on correct proportions
- Have general knowledge of cooking temperatures, making soups & sauces, preparing entries, vegetable preparation and a la carte cooking
- Set-up the station with par stocks of menu items, and prepare the dishes designated for that station
- Replenishes service lines as needed and restocks and prepares the workstation for the next shift
- Ensures that all products are stored properly in the correct location at the appropriate levels at all times
- Ability to organise the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders
- Able to prepare and sells food within recommended time frames to meet Guest expectations
- Able to operate kitchen equipment like braising pan, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers
- Also, ability to works as Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef

**Skills Required**:

- Minimum 1 year relevant experience
- Awareness of manual handling techniques
- Experience of kitchen equipment
- Experience of dangerous equipment such as knives
- Knowledge and ability to run a section
- Ability to work without close supervision
- Ability to manage Commis Chefs
- Ability to produce good quality food in all section’s Good oral communication
- Team management skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Good level of numeracy
- Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you
- Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
- Positive and approachable manner
- Team player qualities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Rotational shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Performance bonus
