Associate, Syndicated Loan Administrator II

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of ASSOCIATE, SYNDICATED LOAN ADMINISTRATOR II, to join our CLIENT SERVICE team of the CORPORATE TRUST ORGANIZATION. This role is located in PUNE, MH and will work a HYBRID schedule (3days per week in-office required).

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

- Manages the day-to-day servicing needs for a portfolio of syndicated loans.
- Responsible for administering and servicing syndicated loan activities, such as handling advances, payments, rate pricing, and fees.
- Working within Debt Funds Market Servicing SPVs and Funds
- Research and resolve loan related issues, manage complex client inquiries and requests, identifies, investigates and resolves escalated and/or complex problem loans.
- Professional and timely handling of internal and external inquiries
- Cash Flow and Cash reconciliation of client operating accounts
- Loan/Bond Trade Processing and Data Reconciliation across client portfolios
- SVP and Fund Reporting at deal level
- Monitor receipt and disbursement of funds through to settlement
- Liaison with internal support teams, such as Loan Operations, Custody Operations, and Cash Operations
- Act as support to the Client Service Manager who has overall responsibility for ensuring that the duties as contracted are being provided by BNY
- Effective collaboration with external parties, including but not limited to, portfolio managers, loan agents, trading counterparties, auditors, and rating agencies
- Ensure all processes are in accordance with the Firm, Corporate Trust policies, and standard business practices
- Solve complex problems based on an understanding and knowledge of the intricacies of the loan system.
- Ability to read and interpret commercial loan agreements and legal documents, as necessary.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 5-7 years of total work experience is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively across groups globally within the organization.
- 3-5 years of directly related experience with syndicated loans and/or comparable experience is required.
- Experience with Loan IQ is strongly preferred.
- Fluent spoken and written English language skills is essential
- Experience in financial services - knowledge of Loan Administration, Syndicated Loans and/or Structured Finance is essential
- Excellent Excel Skills are required
- Experience working within a global team environment
- Proven track record of working within a team that delivers against deadlines and client deliverables
- Adaptability (ability to modify approach as situations change, and to easily accept changes to own organization or job requirements)
- Strong decision-making skills
