**What we're looking for**

If you join us, you will:

- Support trading activity from the point trades are executed through post trade analysis to verify that the firm is meeting all of its regulatory requirements;
- Take the lead in enhancing the firm’s compliance surveillance program, especially covering the firm’s on-exchange trading in India;
- Identify and assess key risks that are not currently covered by the automated surveillance tools and determine how these risk areas can be reviewed via other methods
- Working collaboratively with colleagues in all of our Asia Pacific, USA and Europe locations, in support of all relevant Surveillance/Compliance initiatives.

From week to week the role asks you to:

- Develop and oversee programs and systems to ensure compliance with market rules, regulations and internal policies for trading business of Susquehanna India Trading Pvt Ltd.
- Partner with the technology team to achieve smart solutions to all surveillance and risk management system needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders to stay abreast of key regulatory changes and best practices in surveillance and compliance.
- Will be based out of Mumbai office and will report to the Compliance Officer in Susquehanna India Trading Pvt Ltd.

Compliance Knowledge
- Knowledge of exchange trading rules, regulations and associated market practices
- Knowledge of compliance surveillance systems and risk management systems

Applicant Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in compliance, surveillance and risk management, equities and/or derivatives market experience/exposure preferred.
- CA / CS educational qualification preferred.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information to all levels of the firm.
- Expertise in technology systems and methods that support surveillance and risk management.Exhibit a strong solution focused approach which leads to timely resolutions.
