**Job Title**: Computer Typist

**Salary**: 12k to 15K in hand
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Type and format documents, letters, reports, and other materials accurately and efficiently.
- Perform data entry tasks, including updating and maintaining digital records.
- Proofread and review typed documents to ensure accuracy and correct formatting.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure proper document management.
- Prepare and edit spreadsheets, presentations, and other office-related documents.
- Assist with administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and photocopying as needed.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Use computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office tools to complete tasks.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional qualifications in office management or typing is a plus).
- Proven experience as a computer typist, data entry operator, or similar role.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy (a typing test may be conducted).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread for errors.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience working in an educational or administrative setting.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as scanners and printers.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
