**Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching**:

- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in Chemistry to foundation level students.
- Developing lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.
- Utilizing various teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Contributing to the development and enhancement of the Chemistry curriculum for foundation level students.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Designing and administering assessments to measure student learning and progress.
- Providing constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians on academic performance.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic growth.
- Managing student behavior effectively and implementing disciplinary measures when necessary.
- **Professional Development**:

- Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in Chemistry education.
- Collaborating with colleagues to share resources, strategies, and innovative teaching techniques.
- **Parent/Teacher Communication**:

- Communicating regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Addressing parent/guardian concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field.
- Teaching certification or licensure in Chemistry or Science Education.
- Previous teaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level, preferably with foundation level students.
- Strong content knowledge in Chemistry and familiarity with foundational concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Proficiency in instructional technology and educational software.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
