**Job Description: Pearson Test of English (PTE) Examiner**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct PTE test sessions in a professional and standardized manner, adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
- Administer various test modules, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, using computer-based assessment tools.
- Evaluate test-takers' responses objectively and consistently according to predefined scoring rubrics.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of scored responses by maintaining a high level of consistency and quality in scoring practices.
- Collaborate with fellow Examiners and Assessment Managers to maintain and enhance the validity and reliability of the PTE test.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and updates related to the PTE exam, including scoring guidelines and test content changes.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to continually improve scoring accuracy and maintain the highest level of assessment standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Familiarity with language assessment and evaluation techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in scoring.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Comfortable working with technology, including computer-based assessment tools.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and integrity.
