**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Inventory Management**:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts, receipts, and withdrawals.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and optimize stock turnover.
- **Receiving and Inspection**:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of contents against purchase orders or delivery notes.
- Inspect received items for quality, quantity, and damage, and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Properly label and store received items in designated storage areas, ensuring easy accessibility and organization.
- **Storage and Distribution**:
- Arrange items in the storage area in a logical and systematic manner, utilizing appropriate storage methods to maximize space efficiency.
- Ensure that stored items are properly labeled, tagged, and categorized for easy identification and retrieval.
- Process requests for materials or products from other departments or customers and prepare them for distribution in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to facilitate the efficient movement of goods to and from the storage area.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and adjustments.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics for management review.
- Update inventory management systems or databases with accurate and up-to-date information.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when handling, storing, or transporting materials, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management and storage operations.
- Participate in training programs or initiatives aimed at improving safety, efficiency, or job-related skills.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in supply chain management or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or systems is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
