Associate Content Editor - ProQuest Aggregation
We are looking for an Associate Content Editor to join our ProQuest Aggregation Team in Chennai/Hyderabad/Bangalore. It’s a team of 12 colleagues reporting to the Anitha Jayaraman, Manager - Content Editing. We would love to connect with you if you are proficient in research, reviewing and monitoring sources, including electronics and websites.
About You
- Moust hold a master’s degree in library/information science or a related domain of education.
- Must possess 1 to 2 years practical experience in data entry, working on periodicals, periodical acquisitions content interpretation, content skimming, indexing key words & efficient reading.
- Should have 1 to 2 years of experience in online library management, hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products, knowledge of searching protocol in a library or research environment.

- Experience in Publishing or Library/Information Science
- Knowledge of ProQuest's products.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Utilize customer data and market trends; as an editor you determine the value-add necessary for maintaining the customer base.
- Must ensure the completeness and accuracy of content reviewed and will be handling content from mixed scholarly domains like, health, medicine, social science, etc.
- Will be creating, coordinating, maintaining taxonomies and work on varied data formats for electronic content (TIFF, JPEG, GIF, PDF, HTML, SGML, XML, ASCII, MARC).

Our internal stakeholders span across the broader Clarivate teams, while externally, we cater to the needs of academic, library, and research professionals.
Hours of Work (full-time)
9.00 to 18.00 IST - Mon to Fri (including one hr break)
