**Job description**

One of your main tasks as an Operational Buyer at Facil is to manage the day-to-day tasks within purchasing. You will act as an escalation point for our different departments and be responsible for any running changes within our change management system. You keep the contacts with our suppliers alive and make sure to update our Facil price and order database accordingly.

To offer our customers, the best solution, you will constantly search for and negotiate the best deals with our suppliers. You evaluate the customer’s needs, look for new opportunities in the market and you always make sure to find the best suitable customer-focused solution.

You will report directly to the Branch Manager India.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive sector/ industrial manufacturing sector
- Technical interest is required and mechanical or material knowledge is a plus
- Analytical capacity and negotiation skills are key: proven experience in working with and negotiating with suppliers to support organizational goals is required
- Proactive orientation and customer-oriented mindset
- Team-player
- Hands-on mentality
- Used to working with deadlines
- Flexible & persistent
- Good MS Office skills (mainly Outlook and Excel)
- Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of fasteners is a plus
- Experience with an international environment is a plus
