Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members.
Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability of test cases to requirements.
Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups in Agile environments.
Provide feedback on usability, performance, and overall user experience.
**Required Skills**:
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
Familiarity with SQL for basic database validation.
Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman (optional but preferred).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills
Strong verbal and written communication.
Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
ISTQB certification is a plus.
