Mill Operator

Job Summary:
The Flour Mill Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining milling equipment to ensure efficient and continuous production of high-quality flour. The operator ensures that the milling process adheres to safety, quality, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor all flour mill machinery (cleaning, grinding, sifting, blending, and packing units).
- Adjust machine settings to maintain desired product quality and efficiency.
- Inspect raw materials (wheat, maize, etc.) for quality before milling.
- Ensure smooth flow of material through different milling stages.
- Record production data, machine performance, and downtime reports.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the milling area following safety and food-grade standards.
- Perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues to maintenance team.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE use, and company policies.
- Coordinate with quality control to ensure output meets required specifications.
- Assist in loading/unloading raw materials and finished products when required.
