Sales Officer

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales Target Achievement**:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for tea products within the assigned territory.
- Monitor and track sales performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential retailers, distributors, and customers.
- Provide product knowledge, merchandising support, and customer service to ensure long-term partnerships.
- **Market Expansion**:
- Identify new business opportunities in the market, including untapped retailers, regional distributors, and new territories.
- Work with the marketing and distribution teams to expand product reach and visibility in stores.
- **Product Promotion**:
- Implement promotional strategies to enhance product visibility and sales at the retail level.
- Ensure proper in-store merchandising and display of tea products.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Coordinate with distributors and retailers to ensure proper stock levels and timely replenishment of tea products.
- Monitor product turnover and help optimize stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- **Market Insights and Feedback**:
- Collect customer feedback and market intelligence to understand customer preferences and competitors’ strategies.
- Report on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer demands to help shape business strategies.
- **Sales Reporting and Administration**:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and presentations for management.
- Track sales progress, pipeline, and potential opportunities, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- **Training and Development**:
- Provide training and support to retailers and distributors about product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
- Stay updated on product developments, market conditions, and industry trends.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- **Experience**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably within the food and beverage or tea industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to analyze sales data and identify key opportunities for growth.
- Knowledge of FMCG market dynamics and distribution channels.
- **Other Requirements**:
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- A valid driver’s license (if required for travel).
**Compensation**:
- Travel allowances (if applicable).
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
