The Transport Incharge is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the school’s transportation system, ensuring the **smooth, safe, and timely arrival and dispersal of students**. The role involves planning routes, coordinating with drivers and attendants, maintaining vehicle fitness, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and serving as the key point of contact for transport-related communication.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure **safe, smooth, and timely pickup and drop-off of students** every day.
- Oversee the **daily transport operations** to maintain punctuality during school arrival and dispersal.
- Develop and monitor efficient bus routes and schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of bus drivers and bus attendants.
- Ensure all school vehicles are well-maintained, licensed, insured, and comply with all RTO regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and arrange timely servicing and repairs of vehicles.
- Maintain updated records of vehicle documents, fuel consumption, servicing, and driver credentials.
- Handle breakdowns, accidents, or emergencies effectively and ensure quick resolution.
- Communicate proactively with parents regarding transport schedules, delays, or any changes.
- Maintain discipline and safety protocols on all school buses.
- Train and guide drivers and attendants on safety measures, first aid, and child care during transit.
- Prepare and submit regular transport-related reports to school management.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in school or institutional transportation management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of traffic regulations, safety standards, and local transport rules.
- Ability to stay calm and problem-solve in emergency situations.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel or transport management software is an advantage.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time, on-site role at the school campus.
- Early morning start time; may require flexibility during school events or emergencies.
- Involves outdoor and on-road supervision as needed.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
