**Scope of work**:
As the Subject Matter Expert, you will:

- **Course Recommendation & Alignment**:

- Recommend related micro-courses that expand on AI’s use in diagnostics, clinical decision support, patient monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- **Program and Course Outline Review**:

- Review and refine the course structure, learning objectives, and topic flow to ensure clarity and alignment with healthcare workflows.
- Confirm that content progression supports foundational-to-practical understanding across healthcare roles.
- **Content Review & Enhancement**:

- Validate technical and clinical accuracy of content; contribute realistic use cases, AI tool examples, or risk-benefit considerations.
- Suggest improvements to learning activities, assessments, and visuals to support effective comprehension.
- **Reference Material Support**:

- Provide reliable, up-to-date sources such as peer-reviewed articles, health tech reports, whitepapers, and AI governance guidelines (e.g., FDA, WHO).
- Recommend resources that support ethical, regulatory, and operational perspectives in AI implementation.
- **Industry & Client Relevance**:

- Ensure the course aligns with current trends such as predictive analytics, virtual health assistants, or AI-based triage tools.
- Confirm that course outcomes address healthcare quality, safety, compliance, and workforce readiness.
- **Content Maintenance**:

- Recommend updates based on regulatory shifts, AI innovations, or clinical best practices to ensure long-term relevance.
- Support content refresh strategies with examples or updated references as needed.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Work closely with instructional designers, editors, and healthcare learning teams to ensure the course is clinically sound and learner-centric.
- Participate in feedback cycles and ensure SME inputs are translated into meaningful, accessible content.

**Qualifications**:
**Professional Experience**:

- 8 -10 years of experience in healthcare delivery, informatics, or digital health innovation roles.
- Experience leading or advising on projects involving AI-enabled solutions such as clinical decision support, diagnostic imaging, predictive analytics, or patient data optimization.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, FDA AI/ML regulations, or AI bias and ethics in healthcare.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Experience developing or reviewing healthcare training materials, technical documentation, or upskilling modules.
- Strong writing, communication, and collaboration skills to support interdisciplinary course development.

**Preferred skills**:

- Working knowledge of AI tools or platforms used in healthcare (e.g., IBM Watson Health, Aidoc, Epic AI modules, predictive EHR tools).
- Ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical, healthcare-specific examples for clinical and non-clinical learners.
- Familiarity with standards or frameworks from organizations such as HL7, HIMSS, FDA, or WHO in the context of digital health and AI.
