- Inspect raw materials (e.g., steel and zinc) for suitability before production.
- Monitor the galvanization process (e.g., hot-dip or electro-galvanization) to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
- Ensure compliance with standards like ASTM, ISO, and other regulatory norms for galvanized iron.
- Maintain detailed records of quality inspections and test results.
- Suggest improvements in the galvanization process, equipment, or materials to achieve better quality and efficiency.
- Liaise with clients to understand their quality requirements and ensure product alignment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to ensure quality across the supply chain..
- Provide reports to senior management on production performance.
