**Job Overview**:
Working knowledge and experience in all aspects of the Project Accounting function (including revenue recognition, month end accruals, raising invoices, forecasting, and reportings etc.). Responsible for assigned activities; adherence to company policies and procedures; and promoting a positive team environment.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for execution of assigned end to end project accounting activities including revenue recognition calculations, contract profitability reports etc.
- Responsible for timely and accurate month end close activities including creation of accruals
- Ensure that activities are performed in compliance with applicable policies and procedures and in compliant with SOX requirement
- Support various internal and external audits relating to project accounting
- Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management related to the assigned activities, in accordance with records retention policies and procedures
- Any other duties as assigned by the team lead/supervisor

**Essential Qualifications and Education**:

- B.Com with 2+ years of work experience. CA/CMA Inter cleared will be added advantage
- Experience in working for EPC organization, MNCs, or with Big 6 audit organizations will be preferred
- Should demonstrate process improvement mindset
- Strong attention to accuracy and details
- Good analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written)
- Good presentation skills and high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to work as an individual contributor as well as team player
