**Location**: Spectrum Electrical Industries Limited, Tool Manufacturing Plant

**Job Summary**:
The Tool Maker will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, repairing, and maintaining tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and molds used in production processes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and expertise in working with machining tools and equipment to ensure tools meet exact specifications and contribute to efficient production operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Tool Manufacturing and Repair**:

- Manufacture precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures as per engineering drawings.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain existing tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines.

**Design and Development**:

- Work closely with the design and engineering teams to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Modify or develop tools to meet specific production requirements.
- Recommend improvements to enhance tool performance and durability.

**Quality Control**:

- Conduct inspections of tools and dies to ensure compliance with dimensional and functional specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify tool accuracy.

**Preventive Maintenance**:

- Implement preventive maintenance schedules for tools and dies to minimize downtime.
- Identify potential issues in tooling and address them proactively.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling tools.
- Ensure all tools meet company and industry safety standards.

**Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of tool designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
- Document changes in tooling to facilitate knowledge sharing and standardization.

**Training and Support**:

- Train junior toolmakers and apprentices on best practices in tool manufacturing and maintenance.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues during operations.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- ITI/Diploma in Tool and Die Making, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- 2-5 Years of experience as a toolmaker in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a tool room.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in operating conventional and CNC machining tools.
- Strong knowledge of tool design and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for tool design is an advantage.
- Expertise in working with different materials, such as steel, aluminum, and plastics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

**Preferred**:

- Certification in tool and die making.
- Experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,500.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
