Expert-eco Biodiversity

**Qualification EB -**

Master’s (post graduate) degree in life-sciences like Zoology/ Botany/ Forestry/ Environmental Science/ Ecology/ Natural Resource Management/ Ecology & Environment/ Ecology & Biodiversity/ Geography.

**Experience
- **Min 3+ Years
- Conducting ecological/wildlife surveys and preparation of status reports for rare, endangered and threatened species of animals and plants and also species protected under national laws
- Experience of providing guidance and support for conservation of species and their habitats
- The following are the additional expectation from the expert

Ø Adequate knowledge of EIA legislation process in India

Ø Understanding of policies, guidelines and legislations related to ecology biodiversity conservation

**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparation and submission of Form I/IA/ CP & PFR/ for issue of TOR, Draft EIA report and Final EIA report for Environment Clearance (EC) for Projects.
- Preparation of presentations for SEAC/SEIAA Projects.
- Preparation & submission of six monthly compliance reports.
- Preparation and submission of Form V (EA report) for Metallurgical Projects.
- Site visit for collection of primary data; maintaining site visit log books, screening and survey, execution of baseline monitoring, Prediction & quantification of environmental impacts, suggestion of mitigation measures, interpretation of data.

- Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
