We are currently hiring for Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET) for one of our clients in automotive sector, to work out of their plant in Chennai. This is a fulltime role based out of the plant office.

Handle the entire spectrum of development activity from the time of getting the RFQ from the customer to the point where production hand-off is done.

Manage multiple complex projects at the same time.

Ensure designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer requirements and standards.

Preparation of the BOM and Approximate Costing for the component.

Ensure that all projects are completed within budget and time.

Complete APQP Analysis & Documentation

Preparing documents such as CP, PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, MSA, PSW.

Coordination between different teams, suppliers & customers to get the components developed.

Ensuring that the necessary optimizations are performed at each stage to ensure

maximum yield in terms of 3M. (Material, Machine & Man)

**Who will be an apt fit**

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree, with 2-5 years of experience

Experience in AutoCAD + CREO experience (2D & 3D Modelling)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Good at Microsoft Excel

Experience in Sheet Metal Industry (preferred)

Should have good understanding and capability in prototyping.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
