**The team you'll be part of**

Supporting and coordinating R2R Accounting processes in dedicated countries/region/process. Analyses and drives improvement initiatives and process harmonization in Accounting focusing on Balance Sheet. Verifies quality and consistency in methodology and accounting principles applied in own responsibility area. Cooperates actively with colleagues and internal/external customers, stakeholders and BPO.

Proactively performing preventive quality and accounting controls and ensuring corrective actions when errors occur.

Additionally, responsible for supporting financial and external accounting in the defined responsibility area.

Understands, articulates and implements best practices related to his/her area of expertise. Lead or be an active participant of a work-group, provides guidance on how his/her area of capability can resolve an organizational need and actively participates in projects.

As part of our team, you will:

- **Providing Accounting services**:

- Follows Nokia Global CFO reporting guidelines and uses appropriate systems to meet financial reporting requirements.
- Complies with Nokia Global CFO accounting principles, procedures (including SOX and Internal Controls) and IFRS/local GAAP accounting principles for the defined responsibility area.
- The SME functions as the conduit for their knowledge area, and applies their expertise to the project.
- Understands, articulates, and implements best practices related to their area of expertise.
- Provides guidance on how their area of capability can resolve an organizational need, and actively participates in all phases of the software development life cycle.
- Applies the highest level of management and leadership skills.
- **Providing SME support**
- Provides accurate and timely accounting support (IFRS/local GAAP accounting principles and, in some cases, in fiscal matters)
- Ensures that the right process exists in own responsibility area and that process is compliant with Nokia global policies and processes.
- Ensures availability of processes knowledge and technical/accounting competence and be Accounting expert in own responsibility area
- Provides support for statutory accounting external reporting and related audit and governance: execution, control and results
- Provides support and coordination of global process implementation and tool deployments in own responsibility area.
- Supports for accurate and timely Nokia group reporting.
- Supports, cooperates and contributes to the Internal and External audit process and coordinate open audit action completion for own responsibility area.
- **Troubleshooting problems**
- Coordinates resolution, coaching users in correcting reported problems and creating issue prevention accounting methods and tools
- Collects process requirements and issues that cannot be solved locally and escalates/inform them to Development Sub-Process owners
- Delivers/organize concept/process specific training upon need and responsibility area
- Coordinates and runs System tests upon need
- Verifies quality and consistency in methodology and accounting principles applied in own responsibility area, reporting / escalating to pertinent leaders when issues arise.
- Responsible for the implementation and execution of the Accounting process (accounting closing, BS validation, reconciliation and attestation)
- Supports preparation of user guides and training material for own responsibility area as per RACI
- Responsible for identifying and escalating process/systems/accounting issues that cannot be resolved locally
- Supports and drives data cleanup activities in own responsibility area (Balance sheet analysis and action planning)
- Contributes to continuous learning initiatives by own exemplary behavior
