Job Opportunity: Information Security & Data Protection Officer (DPO) - Manager

**Location**: Gurgaon (Onsite - 5 Days Working)
**Experience**: 6-7 Years
**Employment Type**: 6 Months Contract (Extendable up to 1 Year)

**About the Role**

This is a high-visibility role ensuring that our information assets remain **secure, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices**.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Information Security Management**
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
- Monitor and resolve security incidents in a timely manner.

**Data Protection & Compliance (DPO Role)**
- Act as the **Data Protection Officer (DPO)** in line with **GDPR, DPDP Act (India), and other global regulations**.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and frameworks (**ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.**).
- Manage DSARs, PIAs, and liaise with regulatory authorities as required.

**IT & Security Integration**
- Collaborate with IT teams on secure infrastructure, network security, and access controls.
- Guide secure system design, cloud security, and data lifecycle management.
- Lead investigations of security incidents and breaches.

**Governance, Risk & Training**
- Track and maintain compliance with security/privacy KPIs.
- Conduct security awareness & training programs for employees.
- Lead internal & external audits for InfoSec and data protection.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity** (Master’s preferred).
- **6-7 years** of hands-on experience in information security & data protection.
- Strong knowledge of **GDPR, DPDP Act, HIPAA, and global privacy laws**.
- Expertise in **ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, PCI DSS, CIS Controls**.
- Hands-on IT security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, cloud security, IAM).
- Preferred certifications**:CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CEH, CIPM, CIPP**.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From ₹170,000.00 per month
