**Key Responsibilities**:

- Proofread and copyedit K-12 educational content to ensure clarity, correctness, and consistency.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to collect, organize, and refine content for educational books and projects.
- Create and review lesson plans and PPTs for K-12 education, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.
- Ensure the readability and engagement of educational content, adapting it to suit the target audience.
- Simplify complex concepts and ideas into clear, precise explanations.
- Scrutinize the accuracy of grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and layout; making copy edits where required.
- Collaborate with the content creation team to ensure high-quality and engaging materials are produced.
- Conduct research to ensure content is up to date with relevant academic and technical standards.

**Key Requirements**:
**Must Have**:

- 2+ years of experience in content curation, proofreading, and copyediting, especially in K-12 educational content.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Wide-ranging, creative intellect and sharp editorial instincts
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to generate grammatically correct and reader-friendly content.
- Strong research skills and the ability to review content for accuracy and relevance.

**Good to Have**:

- Familiarity with authoring tools for content creation.
- Prior Teaching experience is a plus.
- Technical or academic background is a plus.
- Experience in developing lesson plans and educational PPTs.
- Strong creative intellect with the ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Qualification**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Education, or a related field.
- Prior experience in educational content creation is preferred.
- Experience in teaching or working with K-12 students is a plus.
